DTP provided their own logo, but the rest of the site was custom built. The e-store contains over 60,000 products in thousands of categories.
The design comes from a combination of features from various websites that the client enjoyed. The largest issue faced with this site was importing the numerous parts into the numerous categories based on things like SKU numbers and product descriptions. The dynamic transmission finder on the home page was also custom built to allow customers to quickly find parts for their particular vehicle.
A significant amount of time was spent on SEO (search engine optimization) as the client had several very large competitors with already established e-stores. After careful analysis of those sites and applying numerous structural and content optimizations the site is now doing very well in their market.
